Finally, we turn to the one use of the οἶκος phrase outside Acts that relates to baptism—1 Corinthians 1:16. Paul says that he baptized the house (hold) of Stephanas (Στεφανᾶ οἶκον). Paul also operated on the principle of household inclusion; however, again we do not know who was included in the house of Stephanas.
